Glenn R. Armstrong
1950-2015
Watson, Missouri

 

Glenn Robert Armstrong, the son of Gerald and Charlotte (Gardner) Armstrong, was born July 5, 1950, in Fairfax, Missouri. Glenn attended Rock Port, Missouri, and Hamburg, Iowa, schools.

 

On April 14, 1973, Glenn was united in marriage to Anita Heard at the Tarkio Church of God. They became the parents of five children; Dolly, Beau, Michael, Jacob and David, and made their home in the Watson, Missouri area.

 

Glenn was employed by Auburn Consolidated Industries for 28 years. He was a member of the Tarkio Church of God and the Brickyard Hill Archery Club. Glenn enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors but his greatest love was his family. Glenn passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 64.

 

Glenn was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Anita, Watson; children, Dolly Brechin and husband, Kris, Hernando, Mississippi, Beau Armstrong and wife, Leah, Tarkio, Missouri, Michael Armstrong, Jacob Armstrong and David Armstrong, all of Watson; six grandchildren, Aaron, Karissa, Seth, Zack, Alaina and Robbie; mother, Charlotte Armstrong, Stillwater, Minnesota; brother, Denny Armstrong, Olathe, Kansas; sisters, Marcha Armstrong, Tarkio, and Christy Hatcher and husband, Dave, Stillwater; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral Service:
10:30 A.M., Friday, March 13, 2015, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio, Missouri.
Interment: Home Cemetery, Tarkio, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 A.M., Friday, prior to the service, at Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.
