On June 1, 1953, Roy was united in marriage to Gayla Arnold in Nebraska. They became the parents of three children, John, Kim, and Blake. Roy made his home in Tarkio to the present time. Following Roy’s honorable discharge, he took advantage of the GI Bill and began an extensive university education.
