Harold Wayne Wallace, the son of Eugene (Whitey) and Hazel Marie (Wallace) Wallace, was born May 21, 1952 in Fairfax, Missouri. He was raised in Tarkio, Missouri, graduating from Tarkio High School in 1970. Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Army, fulfilling the duties of Military Police, during the Vietnam War. Upon returning from the service, Wayne was employed at the Eaton Corporation in Shenandoah, Iowa, until moving to St. Joseph, Missouri in 1981. Wayne was a member of the Teamsters Union. Wayne passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009 at his home in St. Joseph at the age of 57 years.

Wayne is preceded in death by his father, Eugene; grandparents, Orville and Ida Wallace and Arthur and Sallie Wallace; numerous aunts and uncles. He is survived by his mother, Hazel Wallace, St. Joseph; brother, Roger Wallace, Burlington, Kansas; nephews, Derek and Josh; niece, Jennifer; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services: 2:30 pm, Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.
Interment: Home Cemetery, Tarkio.
There is no scheduled family visitation.
