Helen Grace (Lester) Graham, the daughter of Leslie Ralph and Carole (Harmon) Lester was born July 1, 1944 in Phelps City, Missouri. She attended school in Tarkio, Missouri, graduating in 1962.

On March 19, 1961, Helen was united in marriage to Cleo Junior Graham. After a short time living in Tarkio, they moved to Los Angeles, California, returning to the Tarkio area in 1963.

Helen was a cook in several local restaurants, working more recently at Casey’s and Dave’s Convenience. She spent most of her time as a homemaker; her family and home was her life. Helen passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at her home in Tarkio at the age of 65 years.

Preceding Helen in death were her parents. Survivors include her husband, Junior, Tarkio; two sons, Phillip Graham and Greg Graham and a daughter, Jeanne Wallace, all of Tarkio; four grandchildren, Briana Wallace, Tarkio, Trent Phelps, Maryville, Missouri, Tiffaney Graham, Fairfax, Missouri and Tawni Graham, Tarkio; one brother, Paul Lester and his wife, Karen, Tarkio; nephews, John Lester and his wife, Julie, Tarkio, Ron Baker and his wife, Trudy, Fairfax, Duane Lester and his wife, Sarah, Quitman, Missouri and Matthew Lester and his wife, Alyssa, Alexander, Virginia; niece, Kay Baucom, Tarkio; numerous other nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:30 am, Saturday, October 17, 2009, Assembly of God Church, Tarkio.
Interment: Linden Cemetery, Rock Port.
