Helen Irene Beckley, the daughter of Eli and Agnes Belle (Meyers) Duren, was born February 5, 1946, in Watson, Missouri. She attended school in Watson.

Helen was united in marriage to Dannie Standley. To this union, four children were born; Rocky, Craig, Michelle and Shawn. They later divorced. Helen was united in marriage to James Beckley. James passed away in 2011. She was employed as a CNA at nursing homes in the Omaha, Nebraska area. Helen was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Omaha. Helen passed away August 3, 2012, at Creighton University Medical Center, Omaha, at the age of 66.

Besides her parents and husband, James, Helen was preceded in death by siblings, Ruth Webster, George Winchel, Alice Spiegel, Betty Kirk, Mary Zier and Robert Duren. Survivors include children, Rocky Jennings, Rusk, Texas, Craig Jennings, Stockton, California, Michelle Fink and husband, Douglas, Omaha and Shawn Jennings and wife, Darlene, Omaha; eight grandchildren, Michael, Felicia, Jonathan, Alex, Abel, Nicolas, Brianna and Gretchen; two brothers, Steve Duren and wife, Geri, Rock Port, Missouri and John Winchel, Malvern, Iowa; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service and Interment: 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 11, 2012, High Creek Cemetery, Watson, Missouri.
There is no visitation.
