Ina Mabel (Lucas) Lorenz, the daughter of James Floyd and Corda E. (Hawkins) Lucas, was born April 13, 1912 in Atchison County, Missouri. She attended the Atchison County rural schools.

On March 14, 1936, Ina was united in marriage to Lee Lorenz in Maryville, Missouri.  They made their home and farmed in the Tarkio community. Ina and Lee moved into Tarkio in 1955, and relocated to Tarkio Housing in 1975. Lee passed away June 28, 1980. Ina passed away November 16, 2007 at the Northview Manor Nursing Home in Tarkio at the age of 95 years. Ina had been a long time member of the Tarkio United Methodist Church.

Besides her parents and husband, Ina is preceded in death by sisters, Hazel Howes, Wilma Wankel and Arlene Harvey. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
