Iva Isabell (Worl) Hale, the daughter of William Hubert and Emma Cleo (Van Arsdale) Worl, was born November 16, 1933 in Nishnabotna, Missouri. She passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at North View Manor Nursing Home, Tarkio, Missouri at the age of 72 years. Isabell attended a Nishnabotna country school.

In 1948, Isabell was united in marriage to Robert Collins. They made their home in Fairfax, and became the parents of one daughter Patricia Ann. They were later divorced. In 1952, she was united in marriage to James Warren Block. They made their home in Avoca, Iowa and became the parents of one son, James Bernard. James passed away in 1958. In 1975, Isabell was united in married to Virgil Ray Hale. Virgil passed away in November of 1988.

Isabell enjoyed her grandchildren, fishing, hunting, gardening and music.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Ann Wilcoxson and her husband, Jim, Mound City, Missouri, one son, James Bernard Block and his wife, Bonnie, Clarinda, Iowa; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; niece, Janet Radley and husband, Richard, Fairfax, Missouri; two sisters, Hermie Lucille Schroeder and Sharon Ann King; two brothers, Marvin William Worl and Billy Joe Worl; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Isabell was preceded in death by four brothers, Russell Leon, Fredrick Eugene, Duane, and David Lee Worl.

Funeral services were Friday, June 30, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church, Tarkio, Missouri and were conducted by Rev. David Wynn.
Interment at English Grove Cemetery, Fairfax, Missouri.
