Iva L. Hall

Iva Louise Hall, the daughter of Flaivan Marcellus and Hazel E. (Clark) Hall, was born March 16, 1932, in rural Fairfax, Missouri. Iva attended school at Mt. Hope Country School in rural Craig, Missouri, and Houston Country School in rural Fairfax, Missouri, before graduating from Fairfax High School.

For seven years, Iva was employed by Tarkio Academy as a receptionist, before being employed by Atchison County Services, where she aided people with their utility bills, thru the Energy Assistance Program. Iva was a member of the Tarkio United Methodist Church and the Tarkio United Methodist Women. She was a member of the Skidmore Chapter, #402, Skidmore, Missouri, and dual member of the Fairfax Chapter, #373, Fairfax, Missouri, Order of the Eastern Star and had served as District Deputy Grand Matron and was a member of the District Deputy Club. Iva was also a member of the Atchison County Democratic Women. Iva passed away March 14, 2012, at Carriage Square Care Center, Saint Joseph, Missouri at the age of 79.

Besides her parents, Iva was preceded in death by sister, Mary Alice (Hall) Stevens and nephew, Maurice Wayne Stevens. Survivors include great nephew, Matthew Wayne Stevens and numerous cousins and friends.

No Memorial Services will be held.
A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
The family will receive friends at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 24, 2012, in the Northwest Room of the Tarkio United Methodist Church.
