We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jackie “Jack” Vernon, a beloved member of our Leadership Northwest Missouri family and a shining example of servant leadership. Jack was part of the inaugural class of LNWMO in 2001 and continued to give back in remarkable ways—most notably through the annual golf tournament he organized for years, generously donating all proceeds to support our mission and future leaders. Jack lived his life with a deep sense of purpose, community pride, and unwavering commitment to service. From his military service aboard the USS Henderson to his lifelong involvement in civic and fraternal organizations, Jack embodied what it means to lead with both heart and humility. Whether he was visiting with friends at the Daybreak Café, cheering on his grandkids, or quietly making a difference behind the scenes, Jack made an impact that will live on in the lives he touched and the legacy he leaves. Our hearts are with Ginny and the entire Vernon family. Thank you for sharing Jack with us—he will always be remembered, honored, and deeply missed. With gratitude and sympathy, The Leadership Northwest Missouri Family
