Larry, I just saw your dad's obituary. Sorry to hear of his passing, but 100 years, what a life! I also noticed the Americal Division hat, impressive. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Laukemper Motors in Mound City gave automotive services to this area for 70 years and was privileged to service a great cross section of people. I always enjoyed the Morrisons and loved to visit with them. I think they were two of the nicest people we ever knew and serviced. The felt like mom and dad to all who met and knew them. God Bless, Joe Laukemper

Mildred, I am so sorry for your loss. Jim was a special man, always had a smile and so friendly. At the Lord Acre Sale, he would always give Abie something that he had made. Those items are on the wall in my basement and was and always will be very special. I pray that God will be with you and comfort your heart. I will be praying for you as I know what you are going through. It has been fifteen years since I loss Abie and the pain in my heart is still there. God Bless You, Mary Ann Showalter

Mildred and family, Jim was a very special person. I remember when you had the H&R Block at the end of Main street--now that is a few years ago. He would encourage our girls to "help", if no one happened to be there. I know that all of you have special memories to appreciate. May the Lord bless all and provide comfort to all, Glenna, Sara, and Mindy Wilson
