James Edward McIntosh, II
September 7, 1953 - January 19, 2021
James Edward McIntosh,II, the son of Orville Kenneth and Beryl Grace (Denny) McIntosh, was born September 7, 1953 in Fairfax, Missouri. Eddie attended Tarkio High School, Tarkio, Missouri, graduating in 1973.
In January of 1974, Eddie entered into the United States Navy where he served his country for three years and eight months, receiving his honorable discharge in May of 1977.
Eddie was employed as a farm hand for Mike Minter and Kenny Lane. Then, he was employed by Clay Knierim for 30 years. He enjoyed attending tractor pulls, car shows, and watching NASCAR. Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. were Eddie’s favorite NASCAR drivers to watch. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Eddie passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Community Hospital-Fairfax, Fairfax, at the age of 67.
Besides his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by sisters, Beverly Kay McIntosh and Melva Poston. Survivors include brothers, Charles Harold McIntosh, Harker Heights, Texas and Allen Richard McIntosh, Sullivan, Missouri; sisters, Barbara Bryant, Rock Port, Missouri, and Edna Chastain, Hamburg, Iowa; numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service and Inurnment: 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 10, 2021, Home Cemetery, Tarkio.
There is no visitation.
