Jane Coarine (Johnson) Miller, the daughter of Raymond and Wilma Mae (Troup) Johnson, was born July 4, 1952 in Fairfax, Missouri.  Jane attended the Westboro and Tarkio, Missouri schools before receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Mount Senario College, Ladysmith, Wisconsin.

 

In June 1969, Jane was united in marriage to Robert Riggins.  They became the parents of three children; Amy, Emily and Justin.  They later divorced.  On February 2, 1992, Jane was united in marriage to Stephen Miller in Fairfax, Missouri. He passed away on October 10, 2006.  After graduating from college, Jane was employed with Price County Family Services in Phillips, Wisconsin for 15 years and Page County Family Services, Clarinda, Iowa for 10 years, retiring in 2017.

 

Jane was a member of Merrill Smith American Legion Auxiliary and a longstanding member of the Center Grove Cemetery Board, both of Westboro.

 

Besides her parents and husband, Jane is preceded in death by daughter, Amy Muller.  Survivors include daughter, Emily (Jeff) Parker, Ashland, Nebraska; son, Justin (Cathy) Riggins, Blanchard, Iowa; grandchildren, Brittany, Chase, Andrea, Max, Hallie and Teddy.

 

Memorial Services: 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 15, 2019, United Methodist Church, Westboro.

A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Center Grove Cemetery, Westboro.

There is no visitation.

Memorials may be directed to Center Grove Cemetery.
