Jo Ann Moore, age 75, of Laurie, passed away Friday, April 23, 2010, at her son’s home in Laurie. She was born October 27, 1934, in Braddyville, Iowa, the daughter of the late Clifford and Blanche Bailey Bales.

She was united in marriage to Melvin Moore, who preceded her in death on May 6, 2009.

Jo Ann was a member of the Tarkio United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed reading.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Kenagy and wife, Brenda of Laurie, Missouri and Rodney Kenagy and wife, Dina of Gower, Missouri; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren with one on the way; and her brothers, Ron Bales and wife, Betty of Glenwood, Iowa and Roger Bales and wife, Thelma of Wichita, Kansas; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Rhonda Lea Kenagy.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 1, at the Davis Funeral Home in Tarkio, Missouri, with Pastor Rodney Kenagy officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
