I am so sorry for your loss. Joe was a truly amazing young man whose kindness and spirit touched so many lives. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Joe was my son and captured my heart. You can’t explain how God gives you the gift of love. He felt so alone after losing his high school sweetheart. I pray that he first was welcomed by Jesus and then was able to hug the one he so desperately missed. We all walk this world for just a short time. In Joes last conversation with me he gave me many words to ponder. He was so smart and as he said his brain never stopped working overtime. I will always cherish his memory and look forward to seeing him in heaven. There is only one way to heaven and Joe knew the way was through Jesus. His very last written words to me were “good night dad”. Little did I know how long the night would be until I see him again.
