Joyce A. Tunnell, the daughter of Norvell William and Dora Ann (Fuller) Harris, was born May 13, 1943, in Tarkio, Missouri. She attended Tarkio High School.

On July 28, 1966, Joyce was united in marriage to Charles Tunnell. They made their home in Tarkio and became the parents of one son, Michael. They separated in 1986. Since the 1980’s, Richard Howell has been her loving companion.

For a short time, Joyce worked as a waitress in Tarkio. She was then employed by Henry Fields, first cultivating plants and later as a supervisor in the shipping department until the business closed in the 1990’s.

Joyce loved watching Dallas Cowboys football and spending time with her grandkids. Joyce passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017, at Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 74.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by siblings, Lillie Irvine, Junior Harris, Bob Harris, Kenneth Harris, Dorothy Mitchell and Jeanie Shores. Survivors include loving companion, Richard Howell, Rock Port, Missouri; son, Michael (Heidi Sybert) Tunnell, Tarkio; five grandchildren, Deaven, Hunter, Mc Kindsey, Kaiden and Chloe; brother, Jimmy Harris, Boone, Iowa; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M., Friday, September 22, 2017, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio, Missouri.
Interment: Home Cemetery, Tarkio, Missouri
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 P.M., Thursday, September 21, Davis Funeral Home.
