Doug & Kathryn, I remember with fondness of your parents as I grew up in Tarkio, attended high school and so enjoyed your father as my math teacher. They were such kind and loving people; leaving a legacy for all of us to admire and remember. May you always cherish the wonderful memories in the days and months ahead. Blessings, Norma Jean (Dunlap) Barr

Doug, I just wanted to say I am sorry about the passing of your mom. She meant a lot to me. She took my family in one Christmas when we couldn't get home from school, and kept us together until Dad could get there to get us. We were appreciative of that. Also appreciated your sister letting me wear her clothes. Your mom was a good person, and I just want to say thanks. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care. Kathy

Mrs. Wheatley was my 4th grade teacher at Tarkio Elementary School and was such a blessing to me at a very difficult time in my life. The summer before my 4th grade year, my older sister was tragically killed in an accident. Mrs. Wheatley took such good care of me during that following school year. I am so thankful for her comfort and compassion which truly has influenced me throughout my life. Presently, I am enjoying my 30th year of being an elementary teacher myself. Thank you, Mrs. Wheatley.

Doug and Linda, Sorry to hear of your mother's passing. My wife, Joy and I lived in Tarkio(1973-76)on golf course. We saw your dad quite often(a very special friend) and saw your mother on a few occasions. I'm sure Howard will be pleased to be reunited with Kathryn in God's kingdom. Our deepest condolences.

Linda and Doug: Now our mothers are together again singing God's praises. We are so glad we were able to share some of Mother's flowers with your mom. I sent my memorial to TCAA as your mom was always such an active supporter of our efforts.
