Kathleen Ann Fleming, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Nadrchal) Netzel, was born September 25, 1942, in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended South Omaha High School, graduating in 1960. Kathy then attended the University of Nebraska Omaha.

 

On May 19, 1981, Kathy was united in marriage to Robert Fleming in Lincoln, Nebraska. They made their home in Lincoln and in Kansas before moving to Tarkio, Missouri in 2011.

 

Kathy was employed as a manager for Christian Bookstore in Lincoln. Later, she was employed as an Administrative Assistant for Menninger Clinic, Topeka, Kansas and then for OCIA International, until retiring.

 

Kathy was a member of Fairfax Christian Church, Fairfax, Missouri. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Kathy passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, Tarkio Rehabilitation and Health Care, Tarkio, at the age of 80.

 

Besides her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by son, Randall Kesselring; sister, Josephine Barkus; sisters-in-law, Carol Wornkey and Edna Fleming. Survivors include husband, Robert Fleming, Tarkio; children, Regina (Rob Piveral) Baruth, Tarkio, Robbie (Sandy) Kesselring, Arizona, Ronnie (Esther) Fleming, Lexington, Kentucky, Rex (Kandice) Fleming, Overbrook, Kansas, Debbie (Peter) Maus, Anchorage, Alaska, Rick (Michelle) Fleming, Arlington, Virginia; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Richard Fleming, Henderson, Iowa and Dale (Cathy) Fleming, Colorado.

 

Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 25, 2023, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.

Open visitation begins 10:00 A.M., Sunday, September 24, Davis Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 P.M.

Interment: North Grove Cemetery, Hastings, Iowa.

Memorials: Tarkio Nutrition Center or Fairfax Christian Church.

Arrangements: Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.
