Linda L. Lansdown, the daughter of Virgil Louie and Zelda Alith (Cody) Henry, was born November 30, 1946 in Mansfield, Missouri. She attended Mansfield schools.
On December 9, 1964, Linda was united in marriage to Robert R. Lansdown in Mansfield, where they made their home and became the parents of three sons, Robert L, Russell L. and Ronnie G. In 1966 they moved to Rock Port, Missouri where Linda was employed at Pleasant View Nursing Home and Missouri Beef Packers. In 1976 they returned to Mansfield where she was employed at Rocky Ridge Manor, a nursing care facility, as a nurse’s aide. They returned to Rock Port in 2009 after retiring. Linda passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 at her home in Rock Port at the age of 72.
Linda loved her grandchildren, they were everything to her.
Besides her parents Linda was preceded in death by sister, JoAnn Garzey; brothers, Don Goss, Charles Goss and Darrell Henry; sisters-in-law, Carol Henry and May Henry. Survivors include, husband Robert R. Lansdown; sons, Robert Lynn Lansdown, Russell Lee (Cheryl) Lansdown and Ronnie Gene (Tracy) Lansdown, all of Rock Port; grandchildren, Melinda, Josh, Taylor, Tyler, Tyra, Trentyn, Trinity, Tennyson, Andrew, Corey and Taylor; four great grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Sue) Henry, West Plains, Missouri, Jerry (Janice) Henry, Jack Henry and Ronnie (Carol Cantrell) Henry, all Mansfield, sister Barbara Davis, Oklahoma.
There will be no memorial service, visitation or inurnment.
