Louella Leigh Touriel, the daughter of Jesse and Genevieve (Reader) King was born March 20, 1932, in Rock Port, Missouri. Louella was raised on the family farm in Rock Port.

Following high school, Louella enlisted in the Unites States Marine Corp, and was stationed at Camp Pendleton, San Diego, California, from 1951-1953. After receiving her honorable discharge with the rank of SSGT, she settled in Berkeley, California, and worked for State Farm Insurance. Later she owned and operated a flower shop in Berkeley. Following a long illness, she peacefully passed away, May 02, 2014, in Fairfield, California, at the age of 82.

Louella was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include sons, Jay Touriel and his wife, Barbara, and Ray Touriel and his wife, Reyna; siblings, Shirley Wolf, Dottie Tyner, Glen King and Kenny King; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial Graveside Service and Inurnment: 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 2, 2014, Greenhill Cemetery, Rock Port.
A gathering will be held at Rock Port Baptist Church, following the inurnment, where lunch will be served at 1:00 P.M.
