I wish to add my sincere sympathy to Luretta's family. I was saddened to hear of her passing. She was a lovely, intelligent, witty lady and a good friend to my mom, Anna Margaret Plummer. I always enjoyed talking to her and discussing any manner of topics, including politics--about which she and I shared some views... Luretta and I had a chance to visit briefly this past September; I am so glad to have seen her then. It was an honor to have known Luretta.

So very sorry to hear of Luretta's passing. I will always remember as a boy when ever I walked by her home she would call out a Hello and tell me to stand up straight so I could be a Senator. Mom always considered her one of her best friends and I always thought of her as a wonderful, Kind and gracious lady. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time and it will get better. slowly but it does.
