Marilyn J. (Hamlin) Fisher, the daughter of John William and Bertha Lucretia (Sharp) Hamlin, was born on August 30, 1934 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She attended Lincoln schools and later earned a G.E.D. in Toledo, Ohio. She attended one year of college in Toledo.

On September 18, 1949, Marilyn was united in marriage to James A. Stanley in Tarkio, Missouri and became the parents of five children. They later divorced. On October 16, 1956, Marilyn was united in marriage to Robert C. Fisher and became the parents of one son and daughter. They later divorced.

Marilyn passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Tarkio Rehabilitation and Healthcare, Tarkio, Missouri, at the age of 86.

Besides her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by sons, James A. Stanley and Rodney Leon Stanley and ten sisters. Survivors include children, Lucretia June Jagielski, Gloria Jane Arnold, Valerie Jean MaHeffey, Robert C. Fisher, Jr., and Violet Francine Kimball; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

There will be no visitation, memorial service, or inurnment.
