Marilyn Ruth Griffith, the daughter of Henry and Eva Boulter was born October 20, 1939, in Mandan, North Dakota. She graduated from Mandan high school.

 

On January 7, 1958, Mary entered the United States Air Force, serving her country until receiving her honorable discharge on February 24, 1959. During her military service she met the love of her life on a blind date.

 

On October 31, 1958, Mary was united in marriage to Charles Elijah Griffith on ENT Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Following the birth of their five children, Mary enlisted in the Army Reserve and served eleven years.

 

Mary spent numerous years as a stay-at-home mom, caring for their children, and many dogs and cats.  She was later employed as a nurse’s aide and other positions.

 

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, reading books, playing cards, working puzzle books, attending church and big family gatherings. Mary passed away Friday, October 21, 2022, in Tarkio, Missouri.

 

Besides her parents Mary was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, leaving her the last surviving member of the Boulter family. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Taylor Griffith, and grandson, Brandon Barbo.

 

Survivors include her husband, Charles E Griffith, Tarkio; children Tracy Byers (James), Balko Oklahoma, Sandra Farris (Bob), Brush Colorado, Rick Griffith (Tracy), Goodyear Arizona, Terri Noland (Daniel), Tarkio, and Robyn Alvarado (Frank), Rawlins Wyoming; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Mary’s wish is for everyone to celebrate her life and know she is with the Lord. Let’s go celebrate that!!

 

Private family Memorial Service, 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 29, 2022, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio, Missouri.

Private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Public Visitation from 9:00-10:00 A.M., Saturday, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Marilyn Griffith Memorial Fund.
