Mary Anne White, the daughter of Lawrence D. and Juanita Eleanor (Kneib) Kelley, was born January 5, 1948, in St. Joseph, Missouri. She attended schools in Faucett, Missouri, and Agency, Missouri, graduating in 1966.

 

On March 10, 1973, Mary Anne was united in marriage to David Foster White in St. Joseph. They made their home on the White family farm, east of Tarkio, Missouri, and became the parents of Bruce, Kellie, and David. Foster passed away in 1987.

 

In 1990, Mary Anne moved into Tarkio, where she lived to the present time.  Mary Anne was a stay-at-home mom, raising and caring for her children. In 1989, she was employed at Tarkio Pelleting Corporation as a secretary, where she loved visiting with the farmers, until retiring in 2013.

 

Mary Anne was a former member of the Tarkio School Board. She was an avid music lover who loved to dance.  She also enjoyed golfing. Her family meant everything to her and she cherished the time spent with them. Mary Anne loved everyone and never knew a stranger. Mary Anne passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Tarkio Rehabilitation and Health Care, at the age of 73.

 

In addition to her parents and husband, Foster, Mary Anne was welcomed home by brother, Rolland Kelley and wife, Gail, mother-in-law, Alice White, and brother-in-law, John White.  Survivors include children, Bruce White and wife, Stephanie, Kellie Murry and husband, Ronnie, and David White and wife, Melissa, all of Tarkio; ten grandchildren, Spencer, Kelsey (fiancé, Scott), Bryce, Karlly, Dayton (fiancé, Erika), Autumn, Linkin, Kennedy, Delainee and Karsyn; one great granddaughter, Parker Murry; two brothers, Tom Kelley and wife, Gloria, and John Kelley and wife, Judy, all of Faucett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M., Monday, November 15, 2021, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.

Open visitation begins 10:00 A.M., Sunday, November 14, Davis Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 P.M.

Interment: Home Cemetery, Tarkio.

Memorials: Three Rivers Hospice, St. Joseph, Missouri.

Arrangements: Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.
