Mary Frances Krusor, daughter of Luther and Edna (Eddy) Nauman, was born on March 28, 1918 in Forsyth, Missouri. She passed away on January 4, 2007 at Northview Manor Nursing Home in Tarkio, Missouri at the age of 88 years. Mary was one of ten children raised on the family farm, two miles east of Craig, Missouri.

 

She attended Cherrydale country school and Craig high school. Mary was united in marriage to James Wesley Krusor on June 24, 1934 in St. Joseph, Missouri at St. Joe City Hall. They lived in Rock Port for all their married life except for three years spent in Topeka, Kansas during World War II.

 

Mary and James were blessed with three children: Nina Sue, James H. and Kenton E. Mary was a member of the Rock Port Baptist Church and the William White Chapter D.A.R. She is lovingly remembered for her sharp memory, her famous macaroni and cheese and for being the source of the family’s information.

 

Mary is survived by her three children Nina Sue Heits and husband John C. of Fairfax, Missouri; James H. Krusor also of Fairfax; Kenton E. Krusor and wife Rita of Winthrop, Iowa; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; five step great great grandchildren; one sister, Lorene Epstein, and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband James (1998); five sisters; one brother; one infant brother; one infant sister; one infant grandson; and one infant great grandson.

 

Funeral services were held Monday, January 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m.; Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port; with burial at Greenhill Cemetery, Rock Port. Memorials may be directed to Northview Manor Nursing Home in Tarkio Missouri.
