Mary Jo Vance, the daughter of Rev. Cleo and Pearl May (Hamilton) Graham, was born November 22, 1945, in Norwich, Iowa. Mary Jo attended Tarkio High School, Tarkio, Missouri, graduating in 1964.

Mary Jo was employed by Eaton’s Corporation, Shenandoah, Iowa as a machine operator for 18 years. She also worked as a personal caregiver for family, nursing homes and home health care.

Mary Jo was a member of the Allen Schiffern American Legion Auxiliary #199, Tarkio and Church of God. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, doing crafts, and playing the piano. She was a talented musician. Mary Jo especially loved spending time with her family. Mary Jo passed away, Friday, November 11, 2022, Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port, Missouri, at the age of 76.

Besides her parents, Mary Jo was preceded in death by brothers, Richard and Cleo Junior Graham. Survivors include children, Pamela (Mark) O’Riley, Shawnee, Kansas, Bryan Graham, and Bradley Graham, both of Tarkio; grandchildren, Megan (Jace) Champlin and Rachael (Brent) Clifton; great grandchildren, Riley, McKenzie, and Clary Champlin, and Rowan Clifton; siblings, Robert Graham, Patsey (Bill) Riley, Beverly (Larry) Walker, and Jerry Graham; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service: 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 15, 2022, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 P.M., Tuesday, prior to the service.

Private family inurnment will be held at a later date, Home Cemetery, Tarkio.

Memorials: Mary Jo Vance Memorial Fund for final expenses.
