Meredith Keith Proctor, the son of Howard Clayton and Phyllis Hope (Shandy) Proctor, was born November 21, 1938, in Phelps City, Missouri. He attended school in Phelps City and Rock Port, Missouri.
In 1964, Keith was united in marriage to Glenda Marie Kimball. They made their home in the Rock Port and Watson, Missouri, areas their entire married life. Glenda passed away February 14, 2011.
Keith was employed as a farmhand and drove a truck for Keith Phillips and other area farmers. Keith was a hard worker and faithfully cared for his wife, Glenda. He enjoyed drinking coffee with friends and exchanging tall tales. Keith passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, Missouri, at the age of 79.
In addition to his parents and wife, Keith was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Janelle Nenneman. Survivors include two sisters, Patty and Sharon; sisters-in-law, Mickie Gessert, Ellen Waggoner and Debra Strong; brother-in-law, Monty Kimball; nieces and nephews; and special friends, Roger Rohgers and Barbara Hines.
Graveside Memorial Service and Inurnment:
11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 14, 2018, Greenhill Cemetery, Rock Port
There is no visitation.
