Dear Helen, Robin, Carla, Larry, Kim, spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren, My deepest sympathies for the passing of Merle. He was one of my favorite Uncles and I know that my mom and dad really enjoyed Marle, too. I always remember the ball games at Uhing reunions in which all of the cousins and Merle and my dad played. I also remember the summers going down to St Charles and catching a Cardinal game, all because Uncle Merle arranged it. I will miss Uncle Merle. Randy Petersen

Sincere sympathies to the Barr Family on Merle's passing. A humble man of true faith, a good Husband and Father, a thoughtful friend and Master woodworker; who shared his creations with many. He truly enjoyed life and when declining health came, he took that in stride. I was honored to call him a friend. Eternal rest grant to him O Lord.
