Mona Marie (Case) Morrison, the daughter of Walter Marion and Hallie Faye (Gaines) Case, was born in Watson, Missouri on April 3, 1930. She attended Watson High School.

Marie was united in marriage to Everett Carl Morrison on September 6, 1947 at the United Methodist Church in Rock Port, Missouri. They raised their family in Watson, where they lived their entire married life. Everett passed away July 19, 1988. Marie moved to Rock Port in 1996, where she lived to the present time. She was a homemaker and lovingly cared for many, many children over the years. Marie was a member of the Watson United Methodist Church. She enjoyed attending all her children, grandchildren and great grand children’s sporting events, but her greatest pleasure came from spending time with all her family. Marie passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Bryan LGH East Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 80 years.

Besides her parents, Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Morrison; daughter-in-law, Teresa Morrison and infant brother, Paul Dean Case.

Survivors include her five children, Donna Rains and her husband Ed, Windsor, Missouri, Delores Holmes and her husband Gilbert, Rock Port, Larry Morrison, Knob Noster, Missouri, Patricia Larson and her husband Don, Watson and Julie Graham and her husband Mike, Rock Port; seventeen grandchildren, Dirk Rains and his wife Nicole, Mark Rains and his wife Amy, Wendy Williams, Leo Holmes and his wife Jennifer, Clint Holmes, Brett Holmes and his wife Breea, Samantha Morrison-Mayfield and her husband James, Christy Reeves and her husband Justin, Stephanie Morrison, Carla Morrison, Randall Larson, Robert Larson, Lisa Larson, Derek Larson and his wife Alyssa, Curt Graham, Amber Graham and Emily Graham; nineteen great grandchildren, Colin Rains, Trevor Graham and Blaine Blomstrand, Alison, Kayla and Jacob Rains, Brandon Rains-Kinnison and Michael Williams, Trevor Holmes, Trenton, Avery and Madelyn Holmes, Trey Holmes, Moriah Brewer, Jared Thomas, Taylor and Hayley Reeves, Ty Larson, Jace Larson; nine siblings, Faye Sowle, North Platte, Nebraska, Sylvia Clodfelter, Rock Port, Roy Case and his wife Leslee, Waterloo, Nebraska, Doris Lingerfelt and her husband Bill, Rock Port, Kenneth Case and his wife Janice, Plattsmouth, Nebraska, Marjorie Palmer, Knob Noster, Joe Case and his wife Ann, Windsor, Jean Mensen, Rock Port and Alice Rader and her husband Kenny, Eagle, Nebraska and numerous nieces and nephews.
