Nellie Faye Clark
1916-2014
Kansas City, Missouri

 

Nellie Faye Clark, the daughter of Walter A. and Susan N. Wypard, was born November 16, 1916, in Hamilton, Missouri. Nellie attended school in Hamilton, Missouri.

 

On August 20, 1935, Nellie was united in marriage to Clarence E. Clark of Breckenridge, Missouri. They became the parents of eight children. She was a matriarch of six generations. Nellie made her home with her daughter, Linda, for the past ten years in Kansas City, Missouri. Nellie passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014, at her home in Kansas City, at the age of 97.

 

Nellie was a homemaker who loved to garden and crochet. She made many beautiful quilts. Nellie also enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches and jigsaw puzzles.

 

Besides her parents and husband, Nellie was preceded in death by seven brothers, five sisters, two daughters and two sons. Survivors include sons, Franklin Clark, Hamburg, Iowa, and Derrell Clark and wife, Joyce, St. James, Missouri; daughters, Sandra Sue Jackson, Craig, Missouri, and Linda Baier, Kansas City, Missouri; 20 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service: 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 3, 2014, Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port.
Inurnment: High Creek Cemetery, Watson, Missouri.
There is no visitation.
