Owen Redmond Riordan, the son of Dr. John Joseph and Alice (Floyd) Riordan, was born on September 23, 1934, in Long Island, New York. He attended school in Tarkio, Missouri, graduating from high school in 1952. Owen then attended Tarkio College and graduated from Drury University in 1956.

In 1998, Owen was united in marriage to Patricia L. Brooks. They made their home in Baytown, Texas, where they resided to the present time. Owen managed family properties in Kansas City, Missouri and Tarkio. He was a talented “handy man,” able to fix any plumbing, electrical, or carpentry needs. Owen passed away May 18, 2010 at Cedar Bayo Nursing Home in Baytown, Texas, at the age of 75 years.

Owen was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roland Keith Riordan. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Patricia Riordan, Baytown and brother, John Floyd Riordan, Kansas City, Missouri.

Graveside service and interment: 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 22, 2010, Home Cemetery, Tarkio.
