Patricia “Trish” S. Crosby, the daughter of Clifford S. and Virginia (Bibbee) Summerfield, was born April 30, 1953, in Charleston, West Virginia. She attended Dunbar High School, Dunbar, West Virginia, graduating in 1971. Trish then attended West Virginia State College, Institute, West Virginia, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting.

On September 1, 2001, Trish was united in marriage to Jesse Ames Crosby in South Charleston, West Virginia.

Trish was employed as an Accountant for West Virginia Employment and Training Division/Welfare to Work for 15 plus years. She retired in 2001 before moving to Missouri. Trish was a devoted Christian and attended Ashland United Methodist Church, St. Joseph, Missouri. She was an avid reader and loved traveling with her husband, Ames. Together, they have explored 47 states, 36 national parks, and 5 provinces over the last 20 years. Trish passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025, in Coolidge, Arizona, at the age of 71.

Besides her parents, Trish was preceded in death by sister, Cheryl Summerfield. Survivors include husband, Ames Crosby; children, Danielle (Sean) Reynolds, Nikki Anderson, and April Collingwood; grandchildren, Liam, Noah, and Ashtyn; brother, Roger Summerfield; aunt, Barbara Crow; numerous nieces and nephews.

All memorial services are pending.

Private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
