Price V. Bywaters, the son of Frank and Lydia Amarilla (Trayer) Bywaters, was born September 28, 1930, in St. Joseph, Missouri. He attended numerous country schools and Tarkio public schools.

On November 20, 1954, Price was united in marriage to Jenila C. Slemp. They made their home in Tarkio, where Price was employed by the State Highway Department as a road grader operator. In 1960, they moved to Arvada, Colorado, where he was employed by Jefferson County Road and Bridge Department as a heavy equipment operator. Price retired in 1988 as the District Supervisor. Following his retirement, they returned to Tarkio, where they lived to the present time. Price passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012, at his home in Tarkio at the age of 82.

Price was a member of the Allen-Schiffern American Legion Post #199, Tarkio.

Besides his parents, Price was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Bywaters and sister, Alberta Gauntt. Survivors include; wife, Jenila, Tarkio; son, Clint D. Bywaters, Golden, Colorado; daughter, Susan Hiser and her husband Hugh, Douglas, Wyoming; three grandchildren, Fred, Clayton and John Hiser; eight great grandchildren, two brothers, David Bywaters, Apache Junction, Arizona and Lloyd Bywaters and his wife, Candy, Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 10, 2012, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.
Interment: Home Cemetery, Tarkio.
Memorials: Price Bywaters Memorial Fund.
