Rebecca Lynn “Becky” Bailey was born June 17, 1944 in Maryville, Missouri the daughter of Everett Abraham “Red” and Nellie Irene (Law) Hargus. She passed away on Wednesday night, February 7, 2007 at her residence.

She graduated from Tarkio High School. On June 4, 1967 She was married to Jerry Allen Bailey in Tarkio, Missouri. She and Jerry spent many years raising and riding horses. Becky was a dedicated homemaker and a gifted baker. She and Jerry moved to Shenandoah in the 1990’s. At this time she was employed for Wal-Mart and worked there until ill health forced her retirement.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jerry in 2002; and a sister, Carolyn Bredensteiner.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews Eddie Bredensteiner and his wife, Mary Beth of Westboro, Missouri, Dallas Prather and her husband, Jayson, Shane Bredensteiner and his wife, Kymm, Blu Dow and her husband, Tommy, all of Tarkio, Missouri; special friends Ron and Cindy Nelson and children R’Donya and Torrey, brother-in-law Stanley Bredensteiner along with many other relatives and friends.
