Rhonda Jean (Roberts) Evans, the daughter of Bruce and Velma (Proffit) Roberts, was born July 30, 1955 in Maryville, Missouri. She attended West Nodaway High School, Burlington Junction, Missouri, graduating in 1973.

On September 27, 1986, Rhonda was united in marriage to Steve Evans. They became the parents of one son, Dane.

Rhonda was a Registered Nurse and Director of Clinical Services at Community Hospital-Fairfax, Fairfax, Missouri. Towards the end of her career, she became Chief Operating Officer until ill health forced retirement. Rhonda passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021, in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 66.

Rhonda was preceded in death by mother, Velma Proffit, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Survivors include husband, Steve Evans, Tarkio, Missouri; son, Dane Evans, Tarkio; father, Bruce (Anna) Roberts, Skidmore, Missouri; siblings, Mike (Dana) Roberts, Mark (Ola) Roberts, Gordon Roberts, all of Skidmore, Scott (Jayne) McGinness, Maryville, Jeff (Lynne) McGinness, Burlington Junction, Darla Roberts, Rock Port, Missouri, Kari Roberts, Skidmore, and Sherril Sigerson, Burlington Junction; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 4, 2021, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.

Open visitation begins 9:00 A.M., Friday, December 3, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M., Saturday, prior to the service.

Interment: Home Cemetery, Tarkio.
