I've had the honor and pleasure to have known Rick, Kim and the rest of the family at the Black Iron Steakhouse, these people were family and it showed through and through, as a driver between KC and Omaha it was the best part of the trip. My most heartfelt condolences and sympathy go out to the entire family in this tragic time of loss. Having recently lost a son under similar circumstances, I can only say Rick's spirit and all the wonderful memories will always be close to you when times seem hard.

Kim and family, so very sorry for your loss of Rick. It is so very tragic that he is gone. I have great memories of going to school with him. It was nice to see him and visit with him a year ago at our class reunion at the Black Iron Grill. He gave me a big bear hug and lifted me off my feet! He will be missed. Growing up I remember he and Jerry were always together. They are together once again. My thoughts and prayers to you and the whole DeBuhr family.

Ricks mom and stepdad, Bill Debuhr, were good friends with my dad. Rest in Peace Rick, may the clouds carry you up to heaven.

Kim and family, I am so sorry to hear of Rick's passing. I think of the time when we were in grade school together. He used to tease me a lot and I would get so mad at him and thought I would never like him for that.. But as we got older the teasing stopped and we became friends... I am so glad to have been able to visit with you and him from time to time at the B.I.G. when I would come up to see family, he always had a grin and happy to see ya. Look to the Lord for comfort.
