Robert Allen Edwards
September 9, 1943 - March 27, 2023
Robert Allen Edwards, the son of Hiram Bernard and Mildred Cecil (Merrit) Edwards, was born on September 9, 1943 in Brownwood, Texas. He attended Cumberland High School, Cumberland, Iowa, graduating in 1961.
Robert was employed in financial services and as an over the road truck driver. Robert passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, Council Bluffs, Iowa, at the age of 79.
Besides his parents, Robert was preceded in death by daughter, Lori; two brothers and one sister. Survivors include sons, Tony Edwards and Jon Edwards; numerous friends in the Rock Port, Missouri area.
There are no scheduled memorial services.
Private family inurnment will be held at a later date, Greenwood Cemetery, Cumberland, Iowa.
