Robert Joseph (Robby) Lee, was born on July 21, 1970 to Ronald and Evelynn (Romesburg) Lee in Chillicothe, Missouri. On August 24, 2007, Robby passed away from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in St. Joseph, Missouri at the age of 37 years.

He attended numerous St. Joseph area grade schools, graduating from Mid-Buchanan High School in 1988. In 2001, Robby graduated from Mid-America Nazarene University, Olathe, Kansas with a degree in Management Information Technology.

On July 15, 1991, Robby was united in marriage to Theresa Lininger at the United Methodist Church in Rock Port by the Reverend George Owens. They made their home in Agency, Missouri. Robby was associated with the St. Joseph Public Schools, Liberty Public Schools and the Fort Osage School District in Independence, Missouri as manager of Educational Information Technology. In 2002, Robby and Theresa moved to Rock Port, while he commuted to Omaha, Nebraska and was employed by MECA, the managing organization for the Quest Center. In 2003, Robby pursued his vision of starting a data center in Rock Port, joining with Rock Port Telephone Company and co-founding Midwest Data Center. He has been recognized nationally for his expertise in data center projects.

Robby was very active in the community, where he served as a member of the Rock Port Fire Department, Rock Port Optimist Club, the Rotary Club and had coached Little League Baseball. He was a Cub Master, and for many years attended Camp Geiger, where he was tapped into the Tribe of the Mic-O-Say.

Robby is survived by his wife Theresa and two sons, Colton and Dylan of the home, Rock Port; mother and step-father Evelynn and Gary Stout, St. Joseph; two brothers, Jeff Brill, Agency, and Tyler Stout, St. Joseph; two nephews, Riley Brill and Jordan Brill, Agency; one niece Alanis Allen, Liberty, Missouri; one half-brother, Matt Lee and half-sister Jamie Lee and Ron Lee, all of Trenton, Missouri., maternal grandmother, Barbara Romesburg, St. Joseph.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Chris Romesburg.

Memorial Services: Monday, August 27,2007, 1:00 pm at the United Methodist Church, Rock Port.
Inurnment: Greenhill Cemetery, Rock Port following the services.
Family will greet friends at the United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall following inurnment.
Memorials: Colton and Dylan Lee Education Fund.
Services under the direction of Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port.
