Robert Mark Leisman, 44, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away suddenly August 24, 2007 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 29. 2007 at St. Peter Church, 6415 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. Private inurnment will be at High Creek Cemetery, Watson, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the Minter Funeral Home, 217 N. Main Street, Rock Port, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to St. Peter Parish or School in memory of Robert Mark Leisman, father of John Leisman.

Mark was born July 16, 1963 in Fairfax, Missouri to Robert R. and Helen J. Leisman. He was a graduate of Rock Port High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Missouri Western University, St. Joseph, Missouri. Mark worked as a sales executive for Kraft Foods where he was recognized as District Sales Representative and Regional Sales Representative of the year. Following Kraft Foods, Mark worked as a Sales Agent for Citi Corporation. He was a member of St. Peter Parish of Kansas City, Missouri.

Mark leaves his son, John Michael Kavanaugh Leisman and his mother Sue Leisman of Kansas City, Missouri; his father, Robert R. Leisman of Rock Port, Missouri; brothers, Michael Raymond Leisman of Fairfax, Missouri, William Matthew Leisman of Kansas City, Missouri, Jonathan Miles Leisman and wife Jo of Columbia, Missouri; niece Libby Ranae Liesman. Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Helen J. Leisman and grandparents.
