Rodney L. Bissell
1960-2012
Fairfax, Missouri

 

Rodney Lee Bissell, the son of Richard Bissell and Viola (Kephart) Davis, was born November 26, 1960, in Blair, Nebraska. He attended school in Blair.

 

On May 23, 1985, Rodney was united in marriage to Connie “Cindy” Bradley, at the Baptist Church in Corning, Missouri. To this union, two children were born, Lana and Cody. They lived their entire married life in Corning, until moving to Fairfax, Missouri, in 2011. After high school, Rodney moved to South Missouri and was employed as a mechanic for marinas in the Kimberling City, Missouri, area. When he returned to Northwest Missouri, he was employed by Graybill Tire, Cooper Farms and the Squaw Creek Truck Plaza. Rodney passed away June 25, 2012, at Tarkio Rehabilitation and Health Care, Tarkio, Missouri, at the age of 51.

 

Rodney is preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Sally Kephart and his stepfather, Claude Davis. Survivors include wife, Cindy, of the home, Fairfax; daughter, Lana Volker and husband, Chris, Springfield, Missouri; son, Cody Bissell, Fairfax; father, Richard Bissell, Blue Springs, Missouri; mother, Viola (Kephart) Davis, Rock Port, Missouri; brother, Will Bissell, Omaha, Nebraska; and sister, Nancy Harrington, Nashville, Tennessee.

 

Graveside Memorial Service and Inurnment:
10:00 A.M., Monday, July 2, 2012, Hunter Cemetery, Rock Port.
There is no visitation.
