Ronald Douglas Murry, the son of Donald Rolla and Mary Elaine (Perry) Murry was born on April 17, 1944, in Omaha, Nebraska. In his youth, Ron attended school in Tarkio, Missouri.

Ron was father to Ricky and Joe and in 1972, Ron was united in marriage to Franki Faye Daniels in Tarkio. They became the parents of James Douglas, Kimberly Nadine, and Ronnie Dean. They later divorced. In 1985, Ron was united in marriage to Eva Mae Louche and became step father to Diane, Robert, and Cookie.

Ron was employed by Missouri Beef Packing Plant, Phelps City, Missouri, for several years and later with the City of Maryville, Missouri. He also did construction work. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, cruising, and listening to music. Ron passed away Monday, November 14, 2022, at the age of 78 in Fairfax, Missouri.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and sister Romell Campbell. Survivors include his children, Ricky, Creston, Iowa, Joe (Holly) Stiegmann, Hamburg, Iowa, James (Amy) Murry, Savannah, Missouri, Kimberly (Jeff) Wallace, Fairfax, Ronnie Dean (Kellie) Murry, Tarkio, Diane (Kevin) Bennett, Tarkio, Robert (Melissa) Nelson, Clearmont, Missouri, Cookie (Delmar) Schebaum, Tarkio; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Donnie (Cheryl) Murry, Kansas City, Missouri, Kay Hardy, Omaha, Nebraska, Roger (Sheila) Murry, Tarkio; aunt, Sarah Hoffman, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Funeral Service: 1:00 P.M., Friday, November 18, 2022, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio, Missouri.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 P.M., Friday, prior to the service.

Interment: Home Cemetery, Tarkio.

Memorials: Davis Funeral Home for final expenses.
