Royce Anne (Broermann) Wallace, the daughter of Harry and Neva (Alexander) Broermann was born March 15, 1945 in Shenandoah, Iowa. Royce Anne graduated from Tarkio High School in 1963 and was awarded the Alumni Of The Year in 1990. Royce Anne attended Nursing school and was later employed by Mutual of Omaha.
On September 21, 1964 Royce Anne was united in marriage to Robert (Bob) Wallace, and they became the parents of four children, Kelley, Kevin, Kurt and Kris.
Royce Anne was a stay at home mom until her children were in school. She then was employed for Casey’s for 20 years. She enjoyed traveling to and from sporting events with her children and grandchildren. Royce Anne was involved with the Continental Amateur Baseball Association (CABA) as the Head Score Keeper for 15 years and attended several CABA National meetings. Royce Anne loved to sew. She made baby blankets for all the grandchildren and had started on blankets for the great grandchildren. Royce Anne passed away July 5, 2016 at a Bellevue Nebraska hospital at the age of 71.
Beside her parents Royce Anne was preceded in death by one brother Gordon Broermann. Survivors include her husband, Bob Wallace, Shenandoah, Iowa; children, Kelley (Derrick) Madron and Kevin Wallace, both of Tarkio, Kurt Wallace of Omaha, Nebraska and Kris (Jeremy) Wise of College Springs, Iowa; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and two step grandchildren; brother, Gregg (Elaine) Broermann, Shenandoah; aunts, Wilma Vette, Tarkio and Dorothy Edwards, Texas; numerous, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to many to name that called her mom, nanny, or grandma.
Royce Anne (Broermann) Wallace, 71, Shenandoah, formerly of Tarkio, Missouri passed away July 5, 2016 at a Bellevue, Nebraska Hospital.
The family will receive friends and have an informal visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, July 11, 2016, at Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio
There are no memorial services.
A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
