Ruthie was one of the finest people I have every known. She had an excellent set of values and lived what she preached. She added so much to our world.

I am so sorry to learn of Ruthie’s passing. She had a special zest for life long learning and was one of the kindest people that I have known. Her presentations on the use of quilts as guides to safe houses on the Underground Railroad were outstanding. It was a blessing to have known her.

What a sweet and beautiful light in this world. I don't think I've ever known a kinder person. She was truly a child God. May HE bless and comfort her family and friends. 🫂💜

Ruthie was always kind and joyful. She had a great sense of humor and I will always remember the fun we had as young girls . Heaven has a very special Angel with Ruthie there.

To Ruthie, a childhood friend. She had a laugh and smile that would light up any room. She will be missed by many.

I am so sad to hear of Ruthie’s death. We were friends while we lived in Craig. Our girls, Jill & Tonia, played together and we taught together at Craig. We were in a ladies group together also and always had so much fun. She was such a sweet friend that always had a listening ear. There was no one any kinder to her students and her friends than Ruthie Rother. My prayers are with you all🙏🏼

I am so sorry to hear of Ruthie’s passing. I did not know she had been sick. I remember when you lived next door to us and you were a baby. She was a good and thoughtful person. Kathy Haer

Ruthie was an amazing teacher. Her smile and giggle could light up the room. I am grateful she was in my life and I am grateful that she planted herself solidly in the life of my friend Rose Ewing. My heart is with Ruthie's daughter Tonja, Rose, and Ruth's grand daughters.
