Ruth A. Omohundro

Ruth Ann (Zuck) Omohundro, daughter of Russell and Opal (Clark) Zuck was born April 24, 1932, at the Grape Community Hospital, Hamburg, Iowa. She attended elementary school at Shiloh Country School, north of Rock Port and graduated from Rock Port High School in 1950. Ruth Ann graduated from William Woods College, Fulton, Missouri, in 1952.

On November 3, 1956, Ruth Ann was united in marriage to Jess H. Omohundro. They became the parents of one daughter, Linda Ann. Ruth Ann was employed by The Bank of Atchison County, Rock Port, and the Owens-Illinois Glass Company, Omaha, Nebraska. She was a member of the Rock Port United Methodist Church and the Chapter D U, P.E.O. Sisterhood, Rock Port. Ruth Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and playing bridge. Ruth Ann passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Community Hospital-Fairfax, Fairfax, Missouri at the age of 79.

Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include husband, Jess, of the home, Rock Port; daughter, Linda Hodnefield and husband, Kevin, Maryland Heights, Missouri; two grandsons, Jonathan Hodnefield, Chicago, Illinois and Scott Hodnefield, Maryland Heights.

Services: 10:00 A.M., Friday, February 10, 2012, United Methodist Church, Rock Port.
Interment: Greenhill Cemetery, Rock Port.
There is no scheduled family visitation.
