Sandra Lee Smith, the daughter of Julius A. and Margaret (Simands) Donaldson, was born July 4, 1953 in Keene, New Hampshire. She attended Keene High School, Keene.

In 1989, Sandy met her future husband Melvin Minor and they were united in marriage in 2006. They later divorced, but Melvin and Sandy remained close.

Sandy was a home maker and for a short time was employed by McDonalds in Rock Port, Missouri. Sandy loved coffee so much that while working at McDonalds, she made a whole fresh pot for herself.

Sandy enjoyed playing Nintendo and collecting ceramic chickens and roosters. Melvin and Sandy were currently remodeling their home in Fairfax, and Sandy was anticipating their move. Sandy passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021, in Tarkio, Missouri, at the age of 68.

Besides her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by son, Neil Minor; siblings, Robert “Bobby” Smith, Linda Jean Smith, and Ricky Donaldson. Survivors include former husband, Melvin Minor; daughter, Brandy Martinez, Cedar Park, Texas; grandchildren, Cheyenne and Christian Martinez, Austin, Texas; nieces and nephew, Nicole Martinez, Pamela Stewart, and Michael Smith; sisters-in-law, Rhonda Minor, Wendy Ladd, Robin Millard, and Kendall Giwona.

Memorial Service and Visitation: 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M., Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 405 Broad Street, Tarkio.

Private family inurnment at a later date.
