Sheree Lynn Shaw, the daughter of Clifford and Elaine (Steele) Meier was born April 11, 1956, in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Sheree attended Tarkio, Missouri schools graduating in 1974 and Northwest Missouri State, Maryville, receiving a secretarial certificate. For one year, Sheree was employed as a secretary with Production Credit.

On May 29, 1976, Sheree was united in marriage to Timothy Shaw at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Westboro, and they became the parents of two children, Shannon and Heith. They made their home for a short time in Tarkio, then in Westboro where they have lived for the last 36 years.

Sheree was employed by Earl May, Shenandoah, Iowa, and Bordeau in Clarinda, Iowa, where she transferred images to T-shirts and later created and sold her own designs at Sands’ Bargain Barn in Tarkio. In 1986, Sheree was paralyzed as a result of a car accident and became a full time homemaker. Sheree passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Community Hospital-Fairfax, Fairfax, Missouri, at the age of 59.

Sheree was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Beside her parents, Sheree was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Rodney Shaw. Survivors include husband, Tim, Westboro; daughter, Shannon Shaw, Westboro; son, Heith Shaw and his wife, Cassie, Tarkio; grandson, Oliver Franklin Shaw, Tarkio; sister, Sue Ellen Meier, Rock Port; brother, Steve Meier and his wife, Shari, Essex, Iowa; brother-in-law, Michael Shaw and his wife, Teresa, Tarkio; sister-in-law, Angie Balle and her husband, Ronald, Burlington Junction, Missouri; sister-in-law, Lesa Shaw Bullock and her husband, Gary, Eden Prairie, Minnesota; numerous nieces and nephews and their miniature poodle, Luci.

Funeral:
10:30 A.M., Wednesday, April 29, 2015, St. John’s Lutheran Church, Westboro.
Interment: St. John’s Cemetery, Westboro
The family will receive friends 6:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday, at Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio, Missouri.
