Sterling Travis Lambert, the son of Clinton Sterling “Bud” and Ruby Darlene (Volner) Lambert, was born November 1, 1987, in Fairfax, Missouri. He attended Rock Port High School, Rock Port, Missouri, graduating in 2007. Travis attended Northwest Technical School, Maryville, Missouri, for two years.

In May 2015, Travis was united in marriage to Nicole Henriksen. They have been separated for the last year. Travis was employed by Kawasaki in Maryville, Graybill Tire and Repair, Rock Port, Eaton Corporation, Shenandoah, Iowa, Diversified Foods, Nebraska City, Nebraska, and Truck Wash America, Rock Port. In 2015, ill-health forced his retirement.

Travis enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, playing video games with friends and attending concerts. He loved his family and spending time with them at family gatherings. Travis passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at his home in Watson, Missouri, at the age of 30.

In addition to his father, Travis was preceded in death by brother, Jody Parsons; sister, Genie Parsons Perry; and nephew, Garrett Parsons. Survivors include mother, Darlene Lambert, Craig, Missouri; siblings, Lonnie Parsons and Donnie Parsons and wife, April, all of Watson, Jennifer Parsons Junior, Auburn, Nebraska, Charlotte Bammer, Kansas, and Clint Lambert, Maryville; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service: 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 13, 2018, Minter Funeral Chapel.
Interment: Center Grove Cemetery, Westboro, Missouri
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 12:50 P.M., prior to the service at Minter Funeral Chapel.
