TO STEVE'S FAMILY==I met Steve back in the late 50's when he would be in Tarkio and was running around with billy abel. they sometimes would give me a ride in billy's new buick (can not remember the year but it sure was colorful and fast). He was always friendly and easy to get to know. sincerely, L.G. Weathermon g

Steve was definitely one of the "Good Guys". Always a smile on his face, and willing to visit and always asking how we were doing and wanting news on our kids. He was a big supporter of our children during their time at RPHS and continued on into their adulthood. I will miss pulling up beside him as he was walking Main Street and chatting a bit. Men like Steve do not come around often. Diana and I will miss him. Naturally, we send our condolences to his family.

I felt incredibly sad when hearing of the passing of Mr. Scamman. He was such a staple of my childhood in the halls of the elementary to attending sporting events to hanging out down at Bradley’s gas station. What a wonderful man for anyone to have been known by him. Thinking of all of you during this time of grief.

Brenda, Kim & Family, I am so sorry to hear about Steve's passing. I will always appreciate that he made me feel welcome whenever I was able to come to your home. He was always nice to visit with & to see him light up whenever he got to talk about the grandkids & activities that they were doing. My deepest sympathy to all.
