Sue Ann Davis, the daughter of Donald Reid and Lou Ella (Miller) Davis, was born November 15, 1954 in Fairfax, Missouri.  Sue graduated from Tarkio High School in 1973. She began working as a teller while still in high school for the currently named Farmers State Bank in Tarkio.  She was very close to her 50^th year with the bank when she became ill.

Sue was an active and faithful member of the United Methodist Church, Tarkio, where she  served with the youth group and the hospitality committee.  She enjoyed the theatre and was a member of the Southwest Iowa Theatre group.  She was currently serving on the board there. Sue was an avid reader who loved people and her family.  Sue passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Community Hospital-Fairfax, Fairfax, at the age of 65.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents.  Survivors include her brother Jim Davis, Fairmont, West Virginia; nieces, Katy Ann Moore and her husband Justin, Springdale, Arkansas, and Elizabeth Jane Powers and her husband Stephen, Rogers, Arkansas; three great nephews, two great nieces and one very special great great-nephew; and a host of many friends who are all very saddened by her sudden passing.

Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 4, 2020, at Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.
