Terry W. Carlisle

1947 -2019

 

Terry Wynn Carlisle, the daughter of Dallas and Betty Jo (Smith) Carlisle, was born February 19, 1947 in Fairfax, Missouri.  She graduated from Rock Port High School, Rock Port Missouri in 1965. Terry had three daughters with O.L. Chastain: Lisa, Shelly and Aimee.

 

Terry was a self-employed housekeeper and pet sitter. She resided in Kansas City for many years and settled in Tarkio in 2016. She loved volunteering at the Community Hospital Auxiliary gift shop and was passionate about supporting Go Shout Love. Terry enjoyed spending time with her daughters and their families and creating many memories together. She loved going on adventures with her girlfriends in her little red Kia. Her hobbies were many, including going to garage sales, finding homes for stray pets and drinking “margs with salt.” Terry passed away Monday, December 2, 2019 at her home, at the age of 72.

 

Besides her father, and step-father, Dean Lane, Terry was preceded in death by two nephews, Billy White and Kerry Beasing.  Survivors include her three daughters, Lisa (Jay) Erdman, Cameron, Missouri, Shelly (Rick) Toneske, Jackson, New Jersey, Aimee (Greg) Cluck, Highland, Kansas; mother, Betty Lane, Tarkio; two sisters, Shari (Doug) Laird, Urbandale, Iowa, Cyndi (Dennis) Caudill, Tarkio; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and two nieces.

 

As Terry always said, “Life is Good.”

 

Celebration of Life Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 6, 2019,

First Christian Church, Rock Port, Missouri.

A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Family Visitation will be held 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2019, at the home of Christopher and Jennifer Roup, 801 Summit Drive, Rock Port.

Memorials may be directed to Community Hospital Auxiliary, Fairfax, Missouri.
