Thomas Joseph Ronan, Jr., the son of Thomas Joseph and Shirley Christine (England) Ronan, was born September 9, 1957 in Boston, Massachusetts. Tommy attended Mar Vista High School, Imperial Beach, California, graduating in 1975. He then entered the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country.

 

Tommy was father to Jennifer and on July 4, 1991, Tommy was united in marriage to April Staashelm in San Diego, California. He became dad to Lauren and Michael. In 2018, Tommy made his home in Rock Port, Missouri where he lived until the present time.

 

Tommy was employed as a bartender in San Diego and Las Vegas, Nevada. He also served as a Lighting Technician in Phoenix, Arizona. Tommy was then employed by a military contractor where he would on Navy ships.

 

Tommy loved coaching little league and winter baseball. He was an avid San Diego Padre and Kansas City Royals fan. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards. Tommy passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022, at his home in Rock Port, at the age of 65.

 

Besides his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by sister, Tina Ronan. Survivors include wife, April Ronan, Rock Port; daughter, Jennifer (Steve) Latiche, Temple, Texas, step children, Lauren Taylor, Issaquah, Washington, and Michael Taylor, Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Austin, Aaden, Belle, and Ayaley; sisters, Kelly Lopez and Patricia Ayers, both of Imperial Beach; numerous nieces and nephews.

 

There are no scheduled memorial services.

Private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
